Group Captain (R) Murtaza khan

Group Captain (R) Murtaza khan joined Karnal Sher Khan Cadet College Swabi in February 2025. He brings with him 27 years of experience including senior management roles, position as a faculty member, administrator and HR commander.

He is a graduate of Physics from University of Peshawar as well as he has done MPhil in Material Sciences from the same University. Additionally, he also graduated with a Master of Science in war studies from prestigious National Defence University (NDU).

He effectively managed HR and optimized resources in PAF educational institutions, delivering exceptional outcomes and human resources management. He played a key role in fostering a culture of excellence and achievement at Pakistan Air Force Training Organizations. His leadership experience includes serving as Registrar at the College of Aeronautical Engineering, Registrar at the College of Flying Training, and Registrar PAF Airmen Academy Karachi, Lecturer/ Controller of Examinations at Qatar Air Force Academy, Doha. He also served as officer Commander of Pre-Trade training school Kohat and as Quality Assurance Officer, CFT Risalpur. Additionally, he hold position as Senior Education Officer PTTS and Deputy Director Academics at Fazaia Schools and Colleges.

He has received numerous awards, including the Chief of the Air Staff Commendation Certificate, Deputy Chief of Air Staff (Training) appreciation letter, Air Force Commanding appreciation letter, Base Commander Commendation Certificate, and AOC Appreciation letter.

His professional development includes specialized courses in Advanced Educational Leadership, Educational Management, Senior Command and Staff Course, Junior Command and Staff Course, Basic Staff Course, Effective Communication Skills, and many more.
